DESTINY ANGELS

Urgent Appeal

Dear Friend, Partner or Supporter,

An Urgent AppealAs you may know we have been collecting for our Christmas Campaign over the last few weeks. For more information have a look on our website.
This week we were expecting 10 pallets of food from 'His Food' and 1 pallet from Dorset Cereals for our Christmas hampers. Due to adverse weather (understatement!) our logistics sponsors have had to cancel and so at the moment its looking like we cannot rely on this food for our Christmas Campaign. We are appealing to anyone willing and able to step in and meet the need. Here are a few things you can do:

1. Fill a hamper (hamper kits available at any Destiny Centre in Glasgow, however, at this stage you may want to just bring the items in bags)

2. Take a hamper (or a few!) into your workplace, college or school - get everyone involved to fill it

3. Buy some goodies for a hamper

4. Buy a toy(s) to give to the children (unwrapped)

5. Sponsor a hamper or a toy online here

6. Have a clear out of last years toys for us to sell at the Fayre

7. Come to the Christmas Fayre and have some fun!!

Any donations can be brought to the following centres at specified collection times:

Sunday 12th Dec
Destiny Church Shawlands, 1120 Pollokshaws Road, Shawlands, G41 3QP - 12pm
Destiny Church City, Cathedral Street (next to Royal Infirmary) - 1.30pm

Monday 13th Dec
Gorbals Christian Centre, 37 South Portland Street, Gorbals, G5 9JL - 10am until 3pm

We would appreciate if you could do anything to support families and individuals in Glasgow suffering from the effects of poverty.

Kind regards,

CHANGED LIVES

Destiny Angels, Edinburgh

"We recieved a call from Mr. and Mrs. Smith, a married couple both of whom are over 60 and disabled. They both struggle with tasks which many of us take for granted. In particular, Mrs. Smith does not get the opportunity to meet female friends. We have been able to send volunteers to offer support and friendship to the couple." - Destiny Angels, ...
