"Destiny Angels helpline launched in May 2007 with just a handful of volunteers involved and 36 calls to the helpline in the first month. The project now operates in 4 major cities receiving an average of 250 calls per month.
Teams of volunteers are supporting individuals and families practically amd spiritually in communities across Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling and Inverness.
Word has spread quickly of the help and support available from within a Church setting. The walls have come down and the church is stepping out into the community, where it truly belongs.
Our vision is to see Destiny church working together with other churches and existing organizations to enhance the quality of life of individuals and communities. In the year ahead we will expand the project with another four churches in the pipeline coming to partner with us.
Destiny Angels is not simply about "doing good".
It is about the church serving people
with the same heart as Jesus."
